GOLD AND BLACK ILLUSTRATED VOLUME 28, ISSUE 6 80 THREE THINGS 1 How is the offensive line going to play with the depar- ture of two long-time starters? The Buckeyes will have more ques- tions on the offensive line than in any oth- er year under Urban Meyer. There is not an experienced center. Will it be Brady Taylor's spot after playing the role of understudy for years or will Ohio State get creative and shift pieces around? Isaiah Prince has started to find some confidence at right tackle after a rough 2016 season, but will the Buck- eyes move him to left tackle or keep him there and put true sophomore Thayer Munford in the crosshairs at left? 2 The quarterback question has been answered and it has not been answered. Dwayne Haskins will be the guy after the transfer of Joe Burrow to LSU, but what does this mean for Tate Martell? The Buckeyes love what Martell offers in terms of being a dangerous runner and his ability to run a zone read, but the offense seems to be moving more to a traditional passing game under Haskins. Will Ohio State have two distinct looks and try and get Mar- tell some playing time, especially with Haskins being draft-eligible after this season? 3 Who is going to step into the three roles at linebacker? Ohio State is not short on talent but much like with the offensive line, it is losing a lot from last year. It does not help that Tuf Borland was lost in the offseason to an Achilles' injury. Ohio State won't be short of pieces, but it will be a challenge for LB coach Bill Davis and the defensive coaches to find the best mix of three to roll out in Week 1. — Kevin Noon, publisher at BuckeyeGrove.com TIME: TBA | DATE: OCT. 20 | LOCATION: WEST LAFAYETTE | TV: TBA COACH: URBAN MEYER (73-8, SEVENTH SEASON) 2017 RECORD: 12-2 STARTERS RETURNING (OFFENSE/ DEFENSE): 7/5^ SERIES VS.
