The offering is available to Convoy app users and allows small carriers and owner-operators to bring in their power unit and haul Convoy's pre-loaded trailers. Convoy currently is deploying power-only Universal Trailer Pool freight with shippers in select areas, with plans to expand nationally in the future. • 3Gtms, a provider of transportation man- agement software, announced a partnership with 10-4 Systems, a provider of supply chain visibility technology, to expand its TMS' visibility and automation capabilities. 3Gtms said the integration expands freight visibility for its third-party logistics, shipper and broker customers via 10-4's real-time information platform and enables users to track freight with 10-4's mobile tracking technology. • Trucker Tools and HighJump announced an integration of Trucker Tools' Smart Capacity freight-matching application suite with the Prophesy Dispatch transportation man- agement software system. Smart Capacity is a cloud-based software platform designed to connect drivers, fleets, freight brokers and logistics providers in a single confidential network with workflows and tools that accel- erate the process of finding and securing truck capacity. The platform uses real-time data and algorithms to predict when and where capac- ity becomes available from the customer's network of carriers and then optimally match loads. • Truckers Brotherhood announced PilotBoss, an online application designed to help pilot car providers run day-to-day operations from job tender to delivery. PilotBoss comes with capacity matching, flexible billing, transparent pricing, real-time tracking and confirmation, up-to-the-minute ETAs and a peer-to-peer ratings system. It also features on-demand matching software designed to connect carriers and pilot car service provid- ers, bringing the process of finding, securing, dispatching, tracking and invoicing jobs into a single platform. • Transflo, a provider of enterprise mobility, telematics and business process automation for the transportation industry, announced that Fleetmaster Express Inc. and its refrigerat- ed subsidiary, Englander Transportation, have deployed Transflo Mobile across their com- bined 400-truck fleets to improve operational efficiency and streamline the submission and management of delivery documents. INBRIEF Luma helps carriers train drivers in native languages L uma, an instructional design and learning com- pany, announced new features in its online Drive First platform designed to enable motor carriers to further streamline the efficiency and effectiveness of driver hiring and orientation training. e Drive First platform helps carriers assign company-specific employment forms, training and assessments to drivers to complete before, during or aer scheduled in-class orientation meetings. New Drive First features include: • A File Cabinet designed to make digital employment forms and data more accessible. Carriers can manage driver qualifications and assign digital employ- ment forms for drivers to complete and sign online. Certain fields auto-populate across forms to improve efficiency; and • Embedded transcripts that give drivers the option to have forms, the train- ing platform and training content translated to them so they can read or hear it in their native languages to optimize the learning experience. e Drive First training collection comes with more than 100 individual learning modules, called eNuggets, that cover a variety of safety, compliance and orientation topics. e eNuggets can be customized to include company-specific policies and procedures. – Aaron Huff TMW, Decisiv sharing fleet maintenance data T MW Systems, a provider of transportation soware and business intel- ligence products, has integrated its TMT Fleet Maintenance Soware with Decisiv's Service Relationship Management platform. e companies say the integration will help fleet managers extend data ac- curacy, reduce their administrative load and manage warranty recovery when working with external service providers. With the integration, fleet managers can provide an outside service center with an asset's service history, warranty status, telematics and diagnostics data and schedule preventive maintenance. e service center will have a more complete history of the asset for repairs and maintenance, according to the companies. e Decisiv SRM platform is used by commercial vehicle manufacturers, service providers and asset owners for communications and collaboration in the service supply chain. "We're very excited about partnering with TMW," said Dick Hyatt, Decisiv president and chief executive officer. "Integrating our systems will make it much easier for our joint customers to better service their fleets and improve shop performance and profitability." – Aaron Huff Decisiv's real-time Vision dashboard tracks the status of maintenance service events.
