Haverhill Facility, 151 Essex St., Haverhill, historicnewengland.org June 29-30 "ROCKPORT IN BLOOM" GARDEN TOUR 2018 This self-guided tour takes visitors through nine private gardens clustered in three Rockport neighborhoods. Each garden celebrates the diverse geography of Rockport, from sweeping ocean vistas to enchanting gardens with water features to unique granite sculptures, and arches evoking the legacy of the granite industry in Rockport. Lunch, including a vegetarian option, is also available for purchase and enjoyment in a seaside garden. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost: $25. The Rockport Garden Club, Rockport, rockportgardenclub.org/GardenTour.html JULY July 1 HIGHLIGHTS ON THE HILL: CASTLE HILL ESTATE TOUR Join The Trustees for a leisurely tour of the Castle Hill grounds in a comfy electric golf cart. You will hear the rich history of the estate while enjoying the breathtaking views of the gardens, marsh, ocean and creek. It will even go to one of the most beautiful spots on the property. Tours are offered on a first-come, first-served. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your desired tour time. The tour is approximately 45 minutes in length.
