10 • RV PRO • August 2018 rv-pro.com Celebrating LE A DING WOMEN in the RV Industr y By Darian Armer, Tamarind Phinisee and Holli Koster I n recent years, but particularly over the past decade, there has been a steady change in the face of leadership in the RV industry. More and more women have been earning a spot at the top of many companies and organizations in the industry as their skills, talents and fresh ideas break down the barriers that may have existed in previous generations. For the third consecutive year, RV PRO takes a look at some of these new leaders with profiles of 10 female leaders in the industry. This year's 10 profiles include interviews with female presidents, senior partners, executive directors and a national sales manager. Also, be sure to check out RV PRO's profile of female-owned RV dealership Rangeland RV, which is showing strong growth with an exclusive Forest River lineup that is proving popular with customers at two locations in Alberta, Canada. Owner Dania Filippetto jumped into the business in 2001 when she bought the inventory of a dealership that had gone out of busi- ness. She sold the entire fleet in 10 days, and the rest is history. So, join RV PRO in celebrating the accomplishments of these women as well as the RV industry's ability to adapt to a new age of business as it sets the trend for business nationwide. RV PRO sincerely thanks everyone who participated in this special section. It is our honor to share these inspiring stories. And a huge thanks to United States Warranty Corporation, Samlex America, Valterra Products, NTP-Stag, RVLI, National Quality Products (Contoure), RVDA and RVDA of Canada for sponsoring this special section.
