In glamorous company Offering stunning sunset views of Marina Bay, the glamorous poolside party saw a turnout of close to 200 guests comprising luxury travel agents from around the world including America, Kazakhstan, Russia, China and Australia, organisers of ILTM and sales colleagues from Mandarin Oriental properties in Asia and beyond. An Instagram hit Guests had a chance to snap Instagram- worthy glamour shots in a restored vintage vespa sidecar parked by the poolside, with the Marina Bay skyline in the background. Feast of local flavours Guests were given a fitting introduction to Singapore through a sampling of Singapore's local gourmet specialities, including its famed chilli crab with fried mantou (deep-fried Chinese buns), satay (marinated meat skewers), roti jala (net-like pancake) and chendol (iced dessert with coconut milk, green jelly and palm sugar). Also making their rounds were Wagyu steak sandwiches, and hors d'oeuvres of lobster medallion, xiao long bao (steamed soup dumpling) and chocolate mousse. To conclude the evening, guests were invited to take part in a social media contest that saw nine lucky winners walking away with stays at various Mandarin Oriental properties . A revamped Dolce Vita was unveiled last year, showing off refreshed interiors of brown and neutral tones and floor-to- ceiling glass windows that overlook the poolside.
