irish in the pros Rookie Trevor Robinson Finds Niche In Cincinnati By Wes Morgan A year after playing his final game at Notre Dame, Trevor Robinson still finds himself fighting for the Irish. As No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 2 Alabama were getting ready to square off for the crystal football, the NFL rookie heard plenty of trash talk in the Cincinnati Bengals locker room. "We've got so many SEC guys on the team," Robinson said. "You know how they are." Robinson, a guard at Notre Dame who signed a three-year undrafted free-agent deal with Cincinnati last spring, broke into the starting lineup in the ninth game of the season for the surging Bengals, who won seven of their last nine games to finish 10-6 and earn a wild card berth in the playoffs. Robinson acknowledged his good fortune this season.
