He supports Jamie Mead, regional general manager for Malaysia in overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operation. The 18- year hospitality veteran was recently general manager of Hilton Colombo Residences. Prior to that, he was the resort manager of Conrad Rangali Maldives. Schadlou has held the role of director of operations at properties such as Hilton Colombo, Hilton Singapore, Hilton Iru Fushi Maldives and the then Waldorf Astoria Maldives. Nikie Mok is the newly- appointed director of sales and marketing at W Kuala Lumpur. Mok previously held the position of director of sales and marketing at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral. She brings with her over 18 years' experience from stints with Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur and Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, where she served as assistant director of sales – corporate, meeting and convention. She has also held the director of sales role at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur Hotel and Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel. Hilton has named Jerry Huang as president of development for Greater China and Mongolia, eective September 10. Based in Shanghai, he will oversee the team driving the development strategy for China, and will report to Matt Fry, senior vice president, development for Asia Pacic. He was recently president for Greater China at Artyzen Hotels Group. Before that, Huang was with InterContinental Hotels Group for some 25 years, where he led the development and operations teams before becoming president of Greater China. A former Vice Chairman of China Tourism Hotel Association, he also serves as a member of the China National Tourism Administration Platinum Five-Star Grading Committee. Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore has appointed Julian Wipper as its new general manager. Wipper joins the hotel from his previous role as hotel manager of Kowloon Shangri- La in Hong Kong. He brings with him two decades of experience, having worked at several distinguished establishments such as Claridge's, The Savoy and The Berkeley. Wipper's career spans across destinations including the US, London, Malaysia, Thailand, China and Hong Kong. ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road, Singapore has named Paolo Campillo as its new general manager. Campillo has spent more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, with his most recent post being general manager of Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour. He has also served the capacity of general manager at properties such as The Westin Philippine Plaza (currently Sotel Philippine Plaza), Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, Four Points by Sheraton Kuching and Aloft KL Sentral.
