The property is also within the proximity of three malls, a hospital, a kiddie park, and an IMAX theatre. MICE-centric Grand Hyatt Manila has 461 guestrooms and 52 suites but only 200 are available so far, and the suites are targetted for opening within the year. The Hyatt property opened in January as the rst Grand Hyatt in the Philippines and the 25th in Southeast Asia. Rooms are designed to serve business and MICE travellers. Its Grand Double rooms have bigger beds and two separate bathing rooms, aside from the normal room amenities of business hotels. This design makes it more convenient for MICE travellers who often do a lot of room sharing arrangements with co- workers and aliate partners. Grand spaces Grand Hyatt Manila does not disappoint with its meetings and events spaces. The property oers 2,281 square meters of exible space. Its Grand Ballroom oers 1,190 sqm pillarless space with oor to ceiling windows that provide natural lighting and a breathtaking Metro Manila's newest five-star property gives new meaning to 'grand' with its state-of-the- art facilities, restaurants, and in-house service panorama at sunset. It also has a show kitchen that can make for unique entertainment or even themed events. Its meeting rooms are no less impressive: its Grand Salon is a more intimate 266-sqm event venue while the 132-sqm Grand Pavilion is an outdoor venue at the 6th oor that can cater to weddings, social gatherings, and themed parties. The 191- sqm Apartment, which can be divided into three separate areas, is ideal for corporate meetings. Foodie dreams As with all Grand Hyatt properties, they do it grand in Manila. Food is one of this property's main draws. The Grand Kitchen has show kitchens and interactive buet stations; the Cellar is the hotel bar that ts that late afternoon or after dinner cocktails thirst; and No. 8 China House, a Cantonese restaurant complete with a traditional Peking duck oven.
