You and I, as Partners, have been given
a mandate from The LORD Jesus to
teach His people the fundamentals of
faith—what faith is and how faith works,
etc. Let's begin by looking at Hebrews
11:6:
We can tell by this verse that faith is
extremely important. Why? Let's look at
nine reasons:
1. One cannot be saved without faith.
Ephesians 2:8: "For by grace are ye
saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God."
2. One cannot live the Christian life
without faith (Romans 1:17; Galatians
3:11; Hebrews 10:38; Habakkuk 2:4).
Remember, Romans 1:17 says: "The
just shall live by faith."
3. One cannot walk the Christian walk
without faith. Second Corinthians 5:6-7:
"Therefore we are always confident,
knowing that, whilst we are at home in
the body, we
6 BUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE
TO PLEASE HIM: FOR HE THAT COMETH TO
GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS, AND
THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THEM THAT
DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.
