The prognosticators have to rank the games 1-5. For example, this week, if the Maniacs were most certain that the Purdue mens team was going to beat Iowa, they would rank that game a 5. If they were least certain that Purdue was going to beat Michigan State, they would rank that game a 1. Points will be tabulated throughout the season with each week having a maximum of 15 points. In case of a tie, the Maniac coming closest to predicting the total points in the featured Purdue game will be the winner. The guess for the tiebreaker is found in parentheses after the predicted winner of that game. Weekly Media Mania winners receive a dinner certificate for two to Brunos Swiss Inn, located in West Lafayette and the yearly winner will be presented with the Golden Typewriter as the top Media Maniac. In parentheses is the total point for the week/total points for the year. Jan. 27 Michigan at Illinois Comment I like Purdues chances to compete at UM, to win, no so much.
