"I knew all of the altar boy responses in Latin. I even knew what they meant." That foundation of faith has carried Pat through Abuse survivor shares her journey of healing and faith »• 'Forgiveness is a decision' At the age of fi ve, Pat was abused by a priest at her family's parish in San Jose, Califor- nia. Now a Denver resident, she came forward in 2002 to share her story and began a journey of healing which led her to forgive her abuser, a process through which the Church and her faith in Jesus Christ greatly helped.
