Pat was abused
by a priest at her
family's parish in
San Jose, Califor-
nia. Now a Denver
resident, she came
forward in 2002 to
share her story and
began a journey of
healing which led
her to forgive her
abuser, a process
through which the
Church and her
faith in Jesus Christ
greatly helped.
