Thomas Dale included Notre Dame on his top 10 schools list Dec. 5, along with Florida State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, Stanford, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Virginia and Virginia Tech. On Dec. 15, Tyree made his way to Notre Dame for his first visit to campus on the first Junior Day of the 2020 recruiting cycle. Rivals ranks him as a four-star talent, the No. 2 player in Virginia, and the No. 1 all-purpose back and No. 55 overall player in the nation. • Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge three-star defen- sive end Jalen-Logan Redding took his third visit to Notre Dame Dec. 15 for the program's first Ju- nior Day of the 2020 recruiting cycle. He picked up an offer on his first visit to campus, following his performance at Notre Dame's summer lineman challenge camp. The Missouri talent returned to campus for the game against Florida State Nov. 10 and has ex- pressed significant interest in the Irish since landing the offer. • The latest edition of the Rivals250 rankings was released Dec. 5, and eight Notre Dame commits made the list. Leading the way for Notre Dame was Edina (Minn.) High offensive tackle Quinn Carroll, who checked in at No. 54. Carroll has been a consis- tent figure on the list since his recruitment began. The next Irish pledge on the list was Alexandria (Va.) Episcopal safety Litchfield Ajavon, who was ranked at No. 87. Atlanta Marist safety Kyle Ham- ilton, who was a three-star when he committed to Notre Dame in April, jumped 130 spots from No. 247 to No. 97. Cincinnati Anderson offensive line- man Zeke Correll jumped from an unranked four- star prospect all the way up to No. 95. Carmichael (Calif.) Jesuit cornerback Isaiah Rutherford was listed at No. 101 nationally, while Metuchen (N.J.) St. Joseph offensive lineman John Olmstead was rated No. 111 nationally. A pair of defenders round out the Notre Dame flavor on the list: Fort Worth (Texas) Nolan Catholic defensive end Jalen-Logan Redding and Charlotte (N.C.) Provi- dence Day linebacker Osita Ekwonu are ranked No. 200 and No. 228, respectively. — Corey Bodden and David McKinney • TE Kevin Bauman (2020): Caught one pass for 56 yards to help Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic (10-0) defeat New Monmouth (N.J.) Mater Dei (10-2) 14-10 in the New Jersey Non-Public Group 3 championship game Nov. 24 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. … It marked the program's first unbeaten season since 1960. Season completed. • LB JD Bertrand: Helped Roswell (Ga.) Blessed Trinity to a 41-15 victory versus Covington (Ga.) Eastside (12-1) in the third round of Georgia Class AAAA playoffs Nov. 23 … Made five tackles (1.5 for loss) in Blessed Trinity's (14-0) 51-35 win over Lagrange (Ga.) Troup County (12-2) in the semifinals Nov. 30. Next game: vs. Cartersville (Ga.) High (14-0) in the Georgia Class AAAA final Dec. 12. • QB Brendon Clark: Connected on 13 of 26 throws for 217 yards with a touchdown to lead Midlothian (Va.) Manchester to a 21-7 win over Staf- ford (Va.) Colonial Forge (11-1) in the quarterfinals of the Virginia Group 6A playoffs Nov. 23 … Completed 11 of 17 passes for 134 yards with two scores in a 42-3 win over Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes (13-2) in the semifinals Dec. 1 … Passed for 205 yards, rushed for 108 yards and totaled three touch- downs to lead Manchester (15-0) to a 49-7 triumph versus Woodbridge (Va.) Freedom (13-2) to win the Virginia Group 6A state championship Dec. 8 … Compiled 2,337 yards and 36 touchdowns through the air this year. Season completed. • DE Howard Cross: Notched five tackles and two sacks to help Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph Regional (10-2) win the New Jersey Non-Public Group 4 cham- pionship with a 13-0 victory over Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (10-2) Nov. 24 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. … Finished the season with 76 total stops, 22 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. Season completed. • S Kyle Hamilton: Helped Atlanta Marist top Forsyth (Ga.) Mary Parsons (12-1) 10-7 in the quarterfinals of the Georgia AAAA playoffs Nov. 23 … Marist (11-3) suffered a 17-14 loss to Cartersville (Ga.) High (14-0) in the semifinals Nov. 30. Season completed. • LB Jack Kiser: Rushed for 235 yards and three touchdowns, threw for 88 yards and two scores, and recorded 12 tackles to lead Royal Center (Ind.) Pioneer (15-0) to a 60-0 win over Cayuga (Ind.) North Vermillion (13-2) in the Indiana Class 1A state championship game Nov. 24 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis … It marked Pioneer's second straight state title … Rushed for 2,109 yards and 44 touchdowns, threw for 1,183 yards and 18 scores, and recorded 159 tackles and seven interceptions this season. Season completed. • OL Andrew Kristofic: Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland defeated State College (Pa.) High (13-2) 56-33 in the quarterfinals of the Pennsylvania Class 6A play- offs Nov. 24 …. Pine-Richland (12-3) lost 37-0 to Philadelphia St. Peter's Prep (12-0) in the semifinals Dec. 1. Season completed. • DT Jacob Lacey: Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren beat Crestwood (Ky.) South Oldham (12-2) 31-10 in the semifinals of the Kentucky Class 5A playoffs Nov. 23 … Recorded seven tackles, two tackles for a loss, a forced fumble and multiple quarterback pressures to help South Warren (15-0) win the Class 5A state championship with a 20-16 victory over Alexandria (Ky.) Covington Catholic in the title game Nov. 30. Season completed. • TE Michael Mayer (2020): Alexandria (Ky.) Covington Catholic routed Somerset (Ky.) Pulaski County (12-2) 36-14 in the semifinals of the Kentucky Class 5A playoffs Nov. 23 … Covington Catholic (14-1) suffered a 20-16 loss to Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren (15-0) and future Notre Dame teammate Jacob Lacey in the state championship game Nov. 30.
