This issue showcases all the action and stories from the 51st SCORE Baja 1000 and how this year's participants endured another "Baja Challenging" course and pushed through to the finish line, overcoming all the obstacles this year's course presented. See all the highlights for this event, that includes the special Trophy Truck overall win for SCORE veteran and recent Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee, Cameron Steele, along with the overall race winner going back once again to the Pro Moto class and the tremendous effort put out by 7x team of Justin Morgan, Mark Samuels and Justin Jones, which put the Pro Moto class back on top for the first time since 2013! The SCORE World Desert Championship legacy has been built by many special individuals for the past 51 years, and recently, the SCORE and off-road communities have lost one of these very special leaders with the passing of Jerry Herbst, the founder of the Terrible Herbst, Inc. and Terrible Herbst Motorsports. Today the Herbst Motorsports' legacy is being carried out by the multi-championship efforts from sons, Ed, Tim and Troy Herbst. The SCORE staff and community have been fortunate for all Jerry's input and impact on the SCORE series and he will be missed by all. Happy Holidays and Enjoy the Issue Jim
