Business Watch Hirings, promotions, transfers Printwear People SanMar Corporation (Seattle) announces that Kirit Wadhwana joins its team to serve as global quality assurance manager. In this newly-created position, Wadhwana will ensure all SanMar products are true to design and aesthetic details from start to finish as well as throughout the entire manufacturing process. Wadhwana brings more than 25 years of retail apparel and textile Wadhwana manufacturing experience to SanMar. He has held similar positions managing product integrity, color and materials for a variety of well-known retailers, including Sears, The Gap, Victoria's Secret and Pantone. Wilcom International (Sydney, Australia) welcomes Eduardo Serje as the new product manager for commercial products. Serje has worked at the Corel Corporation for more than 12 years and was instrumental in forging the Corel and Wilcom partnership in 2008. As a key player in designing the integration of CorelDRAW and Wilcom's embroidery software, he is delighted to represent Wilcom as product manager. Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, Calif.) announces major changes to its executive management team, including the naming of a new president and the promotion of the company's current president to an expanded international role with parent company Roland DG of Hamamatsu, Japan. Rick Scrimger, former vice president of sales and marketing of Roland DGA, will replace current Roland DGA president Dave Goward, who has been appointed president of worldwide sales and an executive officer for Roland DG. Goward will continue with Roland DGA through the remainder of 2013 as chief executive officer, proScrimger Goward viding strategic guidance. Scrimger, upon assuming his position as president of Roland DGA, will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company and providing critical market insight to Roland DG's product development team. With more than 30 years of senior-level management experience, including 18 years with Roland DGA, Goward has been instrumental in developing the company's sales, service and distribution organizations, resulting in 600 percent growth. Scrimger's background includes 20 years in product management, marketing and sales, including 15 with Roland DGA, most recently serving the company as vice president of sales and marketing.
