From Software to Substrate |||| We reshaped it a bit, and set it to an arc through the warp effect setting (adjusting it to be horizontal and to bend to 30 percent). We stretched it into place then duplicated it a couple of times to make the outlines and locked the original. By adding several strokes to the duplicate layer, we were able to build the thick background outline and paste it back in. We added a heavy distressed tiff texture in front and turned it white so it would print as negative. The screens set up with it first, followed by the "twill" graphics that were printed with stone and mid-gray pigments, mixed with a sculpture base.
