28 | FALL 2018 THE LINK B efore the hustle and bustle returned to campus in September, I had an opportu- nity to sit with David Myers to talk about his role with the School. I said I'd be delighted and started the interview process. For me, it was an opportunity to give back in return for what the School was doing or had done for our children. After my fi rst year, former Board Chair Jim Nelles asked me to begin working on the 2011-2016 Strategic Plan – my background was in strategic planning – so I got deeply involved. As part of the Planning Committee, we oversaw the implementation of the last Strategic Plan. I was then privy to observe my colleague, Leslie Ewing, provide Board leadership in the development of the A VIEW FROM THE TOP A Q&A WITH CDS CHAIR OF THE BOARD: DAVID MYERS
