Effective communication
Continual improvement is key for the
Farnborough Hill groundscare team, and
that includes Dave's ongoing record of
the team's work across the site. In
addition to keeping a regular Garden
Watch blog on the school website, Dave
also produces an annual record of
events, which is presented to the bursar
and any other interested parties.
"I've found that effective
communication is my best ally, especially
in terms of working as part of a team and
in gaining the support of employers," he
concludes. l
