We highlight the Women's Fund of Essex County and its grant program that funds nonprofit organizations supporting women. In fact, since 2003 the Women's Fund has donated nearly $2 million to more than 100 nonprofit organizations tar- geting social change, education, and empow- erment for women and girls. From assistance for young mothers programs to girls sports programs to empowerment for the homeless, the Women's Fund reaches across all areas of health and well-being for women. We also shine a spotlight on a school that helps thousands of children and adults with autism each year through school- and home- based consultation services. Melmark New England is a day school for autistic children and adults that includes children's residences. Melmark New England's Cancro Center for Adult Services offers vocational classrooms for older students and an adult day program at its Lawrence site. e organization has several other group homes for children and adults in the Merrimack Valley. In addition, we focus on ways to recharge and rejuvenate this spring by sharing some of our favorite wellness retreats and programs around New England. For example, there's Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, a nonprofit institution teaching multilevel yoga classes. I can attest to the healing and relaxing qualities of a stay here, where I was able to get away for a weekend. It was truly a life-changing experience. Canyon Ranch in Lenox is another world-class wellness stay. A board-certified physician is available to guests to help with cognitive wellness, gut health, diet, fitness, hormonal health, optimal performance, and longevity and lifestyle. Check out the other dream spas you can visit to help you get in balance in these stress-filled days. We are pleased to reveal the Castle Connol- ly Top Doctors list for 2019. Congratulations to all of those who were awarded this honor! Finally, we hope you will join us at our Grand Tasting + Culinary Marketplace on March 28 at the Blue Ocean Event Center. It's our fifth year, and like a fine wine, this gastro- nomic event just improves with age! Cheers, Nancy E.
