stepped in and ran the business for several years. He credits his drive to be successful to his mother's fighting spirit. In the late 1980s, Stabile took his first job outside of the family business with the Talking Phone Book. He quickly became one of the company's top sales representa- tives. Seeing an opportunity, he decided to create his own phone book in 1990 and dis- tributed it in the Medford and Malden area out of the back of his Chevy Lumina. His brother then joined him, and they formed LocalTel Yellow Pages. They grew the busi- ness to over $10 million in revenue, with 200 titles distributed to over two million homes and businesses. After selling his shares in the business to his brother in 2004, Stabile spent time building homes in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. He started working with a personal trainer, Matt Perry, as he figured out his next career move. Training with Perry sparked his interest in the wellness field. Stabile researched Fit- ness Together, America's number 1 personal training franchise, and together with Perry he opened five North Shore locations over three years. The duo set several franchise records, which still stand today. "Steve might have come to me for fitness training, but the hands-on business training he provided me changed my life," says Matt Perry. "I owe my entire professional career to Steve Stabile." The quick and sustainable success of the new locations earned Stabile recognition for revenue growth and streamlined operations with a high quality of service, particularly from the corporate executives at WellBiz Brands, the owner of Fitness Together, who were in the early stages of franchising Ele- ments Massage. WellBiz approached Stabile to be a mas- ter franchisee and area director for their new venture. Leading the charge, Stabile opened the first nationwide Elements Massage franchise in Middleton. This flag- ship location served as a springboard to "Steve might have come to me for fitness training, but the hands-on business training he provided me changed my life. I owe my entire professional career to Steve Stabile." — Matt Perry, personal trainer WAYSIDE EXIT 33A OFF RTE 128 BURLINGTON MA S H O P W A Y S I D E .
