New Products Vive AZteroid FC 3.3 AZteroid FC 3.3 fungicide recently received approval from the EPA. AZteroid FC 3.3 is a new, higher-concentration formulation of the popular AZteroid FC fungicide from Vive Crop Protection. Farmers who grow sugarbeets, potatoes, dry beans, alfalfa or corn are going to find that AZteroid FC 3.3 provides the same excellent disease control and mixability with liquid fertilizer as its predecessor. It's simply a more concentrated formulation for added convenience. AZteroid FC 3.3 is double the concentration of AZteroid FC, meaning that application rates will be cut in half. For both growers and retailers, AZteroid FC 3.3 will take up less storage space, require less transportation cost and fewer jugs to handle. Both AZteroid FC and AZteroid FC 3.3 contain the Allosperse Delivery System, which uses nanotechnology to allow active ingredients to mix well with liquid fertilizer, other chemicals, micronutrients and hard water. TireGrabber Available from Hunt Seed Company, the TireGrabber's unique design allows customers to simply and easily attach it onto any existing hydraulic system. The TireGrabber's user-friendly wrist-like action can move in any direction to pick up, swing or rotate tires using a three- point pressure system that reduces wear and tear and increases safety. The TireGrabber allows users to set large tires upright, store them flat or move them across a warehouse or property without ever having to manually lift or roll them. This automated system lowers the risk of injury at the worksite, improves efficiency and decreases the potential of damaged tires or machinery. The TireGrabber is suitable for numerous equipment types and can lift up to 3,300 or 4,000 pounds (depending on the model) and grab tires up to 88 inches wide. This is the first high-flotation application equipment with operator controls closely aligned with row-crop application equipment, so operators can move between machines with little or no learning curve. On the three highest-horsepower models, efficient control software for the continuously variable transmission delivers 10 percent more power to the ground. In addition, the touch screen interface controls cruise speed, shuttle speed and acceleration/deceleration, so the operator can set the machine to perform to specific preferences. Agronomic enhancements for liquid and dry application focus on precise placement with finer section control, as well as maximum crop coverage and minimum environmental impact. Lindsay FieldNET Pivot Watch Lindsay Corporation announces a new addition to its industry-leading Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) offering: FieldNET Pivot Watch. The patent-pending innovation includes a solar-powered remote telemetry device that mounts onto any center pivot irrigation system, regardless of pivot age or brand, and a monitor-only subscription to Lindsay's award-winning FieldNET irrigation management platform. FieldNET helps growers optimize water use efficiency, save time and ultimately improve yields and profit. Pivot Watch is compact and lightweight, and attaches directly to the span pipe with a simple aluminum band, without the need to connect to the electric circuitry of the pivot. Though simple in design and low-cost, the device has integrated cellular connectivity, GPS positioning and other embedded sensors, enabling growers to remotely "watch" or monitor their pivot's functions using the FieldNET app. For more information about FieldNET technology, visit www.myfieldnet.com.
