Why He Chose Notre Dame: "I love what the university stands for: excellence in the classroom, on the football field, and in the quality of service to our community. I also am intrigued by the tradition surrounding Notre Dame. I'm blessed to be a part of it." Jason Sapp's Scouting Report: Big target with both leaping and catching ability … Tough player to defend due to how aggressively he attacks the football, his awareness of the defense around him and his ability to find the open field … Adjusts well when the football is thrown and brings an element to the outside running game due to his blocking ability … Great team player and shows a high level of excitement about competing. 2013 Projection: Surprisingly was more fine-tuned than expected during week in San Antonio for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, but a good observation from that week was that when adding his growth potential to his blocking ability — Robinson is a player to watch down the stretch for a shift to the tight end position … Despite an early start in South Bend, he is expected to train and get groomed in his first year before being in position to be a regular contributor.
