Five-star tackle Sam Young edged out quarterback Tim Tebow as the Gatorade Player of the Year in talent-rich Florida, while guards Matt Carufel and Chris Stewart were secondteam USA Today AllAmericans. Also, tackle Bartley Webb and center Dan Wenger joined Young, Carufel and Stewart in the U.S. Army AllAmerican Bowl. Finally, guard/center Eric Olsen was named Gatorade Player of the Year in New York.
