HARRY KREEFT Harry Kreeft is a nematologist and plant pathologist with Western Laboratories, Inc., in Parma, Idaho. Western Laboratories was established in 1973 by John P. Taberna. The company has 17 full-time employees and eight part-time employees, including four professional agriculturalists, Kreeft being one of them.
FRANK MUIR Frank Muir is the president and CEO of the Idaho Potato Commission. Headquartered in Eagle, Idaho, the Commission is a state organi- zation for the promotion of Idaho Potatoes, a focus the group has had a hand in for over 70 years. PHILLIP NOLTE Known for his seed production research, Phillip Nolte is an extension profes- sor, seed potato pathology with the University of Idaho. KRIS MILLGATE Kris Millgate has a degree in mass communication from the University of Utah with an emphasis in broadcast journalism. She landed her first reporting job before graduating from college and now a decade later, the award- winning reporter has 10 years of print and TV news experience plus several cross country moves to prove she’ll go anywhere for a good story. She is a freelance writer based in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
JOHN TOASPERN John Toaspern has worked as the vice president for international marketing at the United States Potato Board since January 1999. Prior to joining the Board he worked at the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service for 15 years, serving in Washington D.C.; Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire and Denver.
