And that's exactly what event company My Private Chef and My Private Conference pulled off for a recent client event on Sentosa Island, Singapore. The event organiser was tasked to organise a private bank's client appreciation dinner and fireside chat that focused on the theme of family legacy and businesses. From the venue to the dining experience, everything was drawn from the idea of family roots and heritage. The stately heritage hotel Capella Singapore on Sentosa Island, with its 19th century restored colonial bungalows, was the chosen venue for the event. An epicurean feast Awaiting guests was a menu created by two celebrity chefs: chef Lino Sauro of Gattorpardo Ristorante di Mare and chef Kenjiro Hashida of Hashida Sushi. The exclusive event also hosted a fireside chat with the head of two family-businesses in Singapore, who shared their ideas and perspectives on legacy planning. Lasting legacy For the pre-dinner cocktail and after party, the organiser partnered several multi-generational businesses and brands to bring in pop-up showcases and activities. Porsche arranged for special test drives for guests, as well as a showcase of its three cars, the 911 speedster, the new 911 GT3 and the Macan. Attendees also had a chance to sample rare vintage whiskies from Scottish Whisky Distillery Johnnie Walker House. An after-dinner tasting club was arranged for a select-few whisky connoisseurs. British wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd brought a curation of wines from their family- owned vineyards.
