The Boilers wore their pinktrimmed uniforms and pink shoes, in support of breast cancer awareness. Some of the Boiler coaching staff wore periwinkle (purple), the color symbolizing the fight against stomach cancer. Kix was on the bench, as she has been at home contests throughout her battle, despite undergoing chemotherapy. ���When you meet someone who has had cancer, it���s amazing what they have endured,��� Kix said in a video message as 50 or so cancer survivors took the Mackey Arena floor at halftime. ���It���s amazing the fight that they have and the will to win is very, very obvious. That���s how to I feel right now.
