Kent Bradley has returned as the trade publication's publisher. Bradley, who earlier served as Restyling's publisher from 2007-2010, replaces Terry Wike, who has accepted the role as director of sales for the Hotrod and Restoration Trade Show, a recent acquisition made by Restyling's parent company, National Business Media Inc. Wike, who had originally launched Restyling in 1998, had returned as publisher in 2011. Bradley, who stepped away from Restyling to devote additional time to its sister publication, Performance Business magazine, said he is looking forward to rejoining Bob Carnahan, associate publisher, and Alan Farb, editor, in the specialty automotive aftermarket. "I'm excited to again be working in the restyling arena, and particularly with Alan and Bob," he said. "Restyling has done an excellent job serving the business-tobusiness needs of this great market, and I see a tremendous opportunity to build on our status and influence as the industry's leading trade publication." Along with his involvement with Restyling, Bradley also will continue in his role of group publisher of both Performance Business and Hotrod and Restoration magazines. More information is available at Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show returns to Indianapolis Celebrating 15 years in 2013, the Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show returns March 14-16 to the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. The show, along with Hotrod & Restoration magazine, in late December came under new ownership and management of National Business Media Inc. (NBM), Broomfield, Colo. NBM also publishes Restyling, Performance Business and RV PRO magazines for the automotive aftermarket, and is a producer of trade shows and business-to-business publications for the graphics market, as well. "We are excited to add Hotrod & Restoration to our automotive portfolio," said Robert H. Wieber Jr., president and CEO of NBM. "The magazine and show have a dedicated following, and we look forward to building on the established success HRR brings to our clients, exhibitors, readers and attendees." Added Kent Bradley, group publisher of Hotrod & Restoration, Restyling and Performance Business magazines, "The Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show in March is already shaping up to be a great event. Exhibitors and attendees can expect the same mix of exciting exhibits, benefi6 Restyling | March 2013 RE-March-2013.indd 6 cial seminars and industry networking that happens every year in Indy." Travis Weeks, publisher/ producer of the magazine and show, maintains his role with the publication and trade event. A comprehensive educational program is scheduled, that will be presented by the Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA), a Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) Council. This year, 45 one-hour education sessions are planned, which are free to all attendees. Manufacturers will present new product information as well as installation best practices. "Education Day is a core initiative for SEMA's Hot Rod Industry Alliance," says Zane Clark, director of councils for SEMA. The program "provides show attendees free, world-class product training from industry-leading manufacturers over a two-day period. Attendees, many of whom are shop owners and builders, are given direct access to manufacturers, and gain business-critical insight about new product development and installation best practices. A sampling of products that exhibitors will have on display includes: • Brakes, Chassis & Suspension • Electrical & Electronic Components • Engines & Engine Components • Exterior • Interior • Paint, Body & Exterior • Shop Supplies • Transmission & Drivetrain • Wheels & Tires For complete information about The Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show, visit 2/8/13 4:43 PM
