I am reminded of a quote from author Norman Maclean: "Eventually all things merge into one, and a river runs through it." "We were captivated by the river's rush when we were first introduced to this space, as well as the charm and history of Ipswich," says Bruce Flynn, who, with his wife, Bea Tiberii, opened e Cellar Door four years ago. With a shared love of food, wine, and entertaining, the passionate duo wanted to create a unique cu- linary experience where, as Tiberii says, "folks could come in and experience a beautiful set- ting, learn about wine, enjoy our tastings, and explore small-batch culinary products, sourced both locally and beyond." With e Cellar Door, they have found the perfect synergy to fulfill the goal of their business, and a quality of life that connects them with the community, gives them time for their family, and presents an inviting and engaging environment that resonates with its surroundings. One enters the shop from a courtyard of crushed stone overlooking the river's sweep. Several rooms open into one another, displaying a cornucopia of specialty gourmet products.
