Sandi Henschel photo by Annette Dragon, Kevin Brusie photo by Sharyn Brusie Contributors Kevin Brusie Kevin Brusie ("Listening With" photo, page 72) has a passion for capturing images, and he's photographed many listeners for AudioFile over the years. His goal when creating an envi- ronmental portrait is an exchange—"I give my vision: lighting, perspective, experience. The subject presents their true self, no façades." More of his work can be seen at kevinbrusie.com. S.J. Henschel Contributing Editor S.J. (Sandi) Henschel (Elizabeth Knowelden profile, page 34) is a native New Yorker who really does ❤NY. Comfortably entrenched in the Rochester, NY, area, Sandi has performed with or directed for most of Rochester's leading theater companies. This issue marks the start of Sandi's 19th happy year with AudioFile, and she's looking forward to many more. In addition to her work with the Brockport Ecumenical Food Shelf, she reads selections from AudioFile Magazine on Reachout Radio, a service for the blind and visually impaired which airs three times a week on PBS affiliate WXXI. Jamie Hogan Jamie Hogan (cover illustration) is an award-winning illus- trator living on Peaks Island, Maine. Her illustrations have appeared in many children's books, and she has illustrated the last three seasons of theater posters for Portland Stage Company. She taught in the Illustration Program at Maine College of Art for 15 years. Visit her at jamiehogan.com. Candace Levy AudioFile Contributing Editor Candace Levy ("5 Questions with Mark Bramhall," page 46) is a full-time freelance book editor as well as a book reviewer and journalist. When she's not working, you'll inevitably find her listening to an audiobook while cooking, walking, making lace, or tak- ing photographs. She was honored to be the 2016 Audio Publishers Association's Audiobook Blogger of the Year. Look for her "Take 5 with Candace" column on AudioFile's blog: audiofilemagazine.com/blog/category/take-5. Tom Walken Contributing Editor Tom Walken ("Learning By Ear," page 52) began writing reviews for AudioFile in the mid- 1990s while he was still practicing clinical psychology. His "Learning By Ear" column started a short time later with a set of reviews on parenting audios. He says the 2000-plus audios he's heard on personal growth and busi- ness topics have kept him current on how people can make their lives better and how work groups become more effective. From his adopted home in Raleigh, NC, the Baltimore native now works with entrepreneurs, evaluates executive candidates, and spends his free time cooking, playing music, and enjoying his friends and family.
