6 BE CAREFUL [ANXIOUS] FOR NOTHING;
BUT IN EVERY THING BY PRAYER AND
SUPPLICATION WITH THANKSGIVING LET
YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN
UNTO GOD.
7 AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH
PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING, SHALL
KEEP YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS
THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.
8 FINALLY, BRETHREN, WHATSOEVER
THINGS ARE TRUE, WHATSOEVER
THINGS ARE HONEST, WHATSOEVER
THINGS ARE JUST, WHATSOEVER THINGS
ARE PURE, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE
LOVELY, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE OF
GOOD REPORT; IF THERE BE ANY VIRTUE,
AND IF THERE BE ANY PRAISE, THINK ON
THESE THINGS.
9 THOSE THINGS, WHICH YE HAVE BOTH
LEARNED, AND RECEIVED, AND HEARD,
AND SEEN IN ME, DO: AND THE GOD OF
PEACE SHALL BE WITH YOU.
Why? IT'S NOT IN THERE! The answer
isn't in your mind, it's in your born-again
spirit because the Spirit of GOD, who
knows everything, and HIS MIND, lives
in you (1 Corinthians 2:16)!
As you cast the care of the problem
over onto Him, standing on the financial
promises in His WORD, say this: "I see,
LORD Jesus, that You are my care
taker. Philippians 4:19 boldly declares
that You shall supply ALL my needs
according to Your riches in glory. Now, I
just as boldly declare by faith that I do
not, and will not, carry the care and
anxiety of this any longer. I repent of the
sin of worry and unbelief, and I refuse to
touch this thing in my thought life any
longer." Do all this while taking
Communion. Then, bind the devil with
the mighty weapons of the Name of
Jesus, the blood and The WORD.
The moment you catch yourself thinking
about that care again, CAST DOWN
THAT IMAGINATION, or the thought of
it, immediately! Say, "I don't touch that.
That's no longer my care, so that's no
longer my thought!" Don't tolerate even
the smallest thought of it anymore! The
thoughts of the problem will become
fewer and further apart until you'll finally
realize they're gone!
I'll close with a very familiar scripture,
but now it will take on a new and more
powerful meaning for us. Philippians
4:6-9 says:
Exchange your old thoughts of the care
and worrry, with good and wonderful
thoughts and praise to God. However,
you can read this letter until you wear
out the pages, but if you don't do those
things I've taught you throughout the
years, it just won't work.
"But, Brother Copeland, this thing is just
so big, I don't think I can do it!"
Just read down four more verses! Verse
13 says: "I CAN DO ALL THINGS
