This insight increases budget accuracy and helps the ASYMCA continuously optimize its programs, including respite childcare for military parents in need, summer camps for kids, and emergency assistance. With Sage Intacct, the finance team standardized all of the nonprofit's executive director dashboards, branch operations reports, and local board packages. "Our branch executive directors hugely appreciate having a real-time snapshot of where they stand financially, along with helpful year-over-year comparisons," shared Brown. "They look at their financials more o en now and are aware of their performance on a weekly or monthly basis, rather than just quarterly. Sage Intacct helps them stay accountable to everything they need to do–from program management and fundraising, to balancing budgets." ASYMCA also uses Sage Intacct's flexible dimensions to effortlessly track expenses associated with specific grants, and to separate temporary restricted from unrestricted revenue. This cuts report preparation time by 20 percent and ensures that the organization's leadership always knows their current grant revenue, how much is le on each grant, and whether they've fulfilled grant requirements. In addition, Brown combines financial information from Sage Intacct with program participant data in order to deliver metrics on program efficiency or any other specific data a funder requests. The big difference with Sage Intacct is that we have timely, accurate information so we can watch how individual cost centers are operating and make targeted decisions more quickly.
