Roses, too, tumble over the fence in a classic cascade. Sears's husband, Dan, tends to them. "He has a rosarian in Maine he consults with," she remarks. Other summer bloomers include black-eyed Susans, snapdragons, and morning glories. Sears is constantly creating, whether in her garden or her studio. She has built an Instagram fan base by engaging with her followers using the site's #The- 100DayProjects to share her garden and art.
