Individuals who have been awarded the Certified Ice Techni- cian (CIT) professional designation by the United States Ice Rink Association are required to recertify every five years from the year they originally achieved the CIT. In addition, CIT's must also renew their membership each year with the United States Ice Rink Association to maintain their CIT designation. Members can recertify in 2019 by successfully completing the written CIT Recertification Exam, offered at any U.S. Ice Rink Association Regional Training Program location. Additional locations are also available. Visit usicerinks.com for an up to date listing of locations. Online self-study materials will be available to individuals that register to take the CIT Recertification exam. 2019 Regional Training Program information is available in the brochure included in this issue of RINK Magazine and online at usicerinks.com/education.
