Ice Arena Manager Kettering, Ohio The City of Kettering's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is recruiting to fill a full-time Ice Arena Manager. This is a management position responsible for the oversight of the Kettering Ice Arena including safety, scheduling, ice maintenance, concession, cashier operations and a comprehensive lesson program serving the leisure needs of all ages and ability levels within the community. Hockey Program Director Chevy Chase, Md. Chevy Chase Club is a private full-service country club located just outside of Washington D.C. The program currently has 17 competitive travel hockey teams, 8 House League hockey teams, and 50 players in our instructional program. The Hockey Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the development of the hockey players in the program including coordination of travel team tryouts, directing the placement of the club's hockey teams within the various hockey leagues, develop and maintain an ongoing education program for the hockey coaches, and monitor and evaluate coaches by observing games and practices of each team throughout the season. Responsibilities and duties include: Oversee all Zamboni operators and rink attendants; open/close; oversee a team of up to 10 part-time/full-time employees; maintain ice schedule; complete routine maintenance on both ice surfaces and all ice maintenance equipment; complete and maintain accurate log books; maintain basic knowledge of the Cimco ECOCHILL plant; assist in the setup and strike of special events; and much more. Sun Prairie Ice Arena is seeking an Ice Arena Manager for a two-sheet multi- use ice arena. The ice arena serves as the home rink to two high school varsity hockey teams, boys and girls youth hockey programs, figure skating, Learn-to-Skate programs and adult hockey leagues. The Ice Arena Manager must plan, coordinate, schedule, and direct all activities within the facility and work to increase programming through the community and surrounding areas. This position must independently manage the facility by coordinating any and all volunteers and staff.
