I said, "Sure, when do I start?" I began my new journey in a World War II aircraft hangar in Magnuson Park in Seattle with Arena Sports overseeing one boarded indoor soccer field and one boarded roller hockey rink. Once a week, we'd pull up and put down 800-pound velcro strips of single-ply synthetic turf covering the sweat-stained hockey court. After 16 years leading Arena Sports' league and operations teams, and a stint with its related software company, DASH, I began consulting in 2018 for industry startups and companies looking for a "fresh start" as a partner with Smart Sports Facility Solutions. I joined USIndoor as Service Director on July 1, 2019.
