ASKTHE EXPERT Sally Gonzalez Sally Gonzalez, a Director in Hildebrandt Baker Robbins’ Strategic Technology Practice, has over twenty-five years of experience bringing business and IT together in strategic planning and implementation of complex, information-intensive systems that require tight integration of people, process, and technology. She is recognized as a leading expert in knowledge management for the legal services industry including the intersection of knowledge management with compliance, risk management, records management, and litigation readiness. During her career, Sally has provided consulting services to “Magic Circle,” AmLaw 100, and Canadian “Seven Sister” law firms as well as the legal departments of global Fortune 100 companies. She has also held senior IT leadership positions at several top-20 U.S. law firms. Sally received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and completed Case Western’s Executive Program in the Management of Technology at the Weatherhead School of Management. The Future of Law Firms: A Virtual Roundtable Discussion Preston McKenzie Preston McKenzie is the vice president and general manager of Hubbard One, which has operations in Chicago, Boston, London, and Eagan, Minnesota, and serves more than 400 law firm clients around the globe. He is responsible for a complete suite of marketing and business development tools, including Monitor Suite, ContactNet and Hubbard One Business Development Suite. He speaks frequently on law firm client development and growth strategies and has been a Hildebrandt Institute faculty member since 2007. Darryl Cross Darryl Cross joined LexisNexis in 2004 and visits over 300 professional service organizations around the world each year to collect and share best practices in firm profitability and growth strategies. Darryl’s direct experience in professional service organizations includes his service as the Chief Marketing Officer and member of the Executive Committee of a law firm. During his tenure, he was awarded one of the most prestigious national awards in legal marketing, the Marketing Partner Forum’s Excellence in Marketing Award, for “Creating a Sales Culture at a Law Firm.” Darryl has spoken to over 10,000 fee earners and business professionals from over 100 countries.
