of amniotic stem cell products, investigating their anti- inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits. Dr. Dutton is no stranger to the performance horse world; he grew up working on ranches and feedlots inWest Texas and New Mexico, remains involved in ranching and enjoys roping. A framed display of Secretariat memorabilia, breaking up the gallery wall of diplomas and awards, may serve as a reminder of his time working at a racehorse training facility. He believes that a working knowledge of his clients' disciplines, and the challenges his equine athletes face, helps him aid in their success. Hill Country Equine's staff members, office manager, Windy, and technician, Katie, also have equine backgrounds and enjoy working with the performance horses. The driving force for Dr. Dutton and his staff is seeing their clients have long, successful careers. Hill Country Equine has been a member of TEVA since its inception. Dr. Dutton believes that the association unites equine veterinarians from across the state and provides unparalleled, continuing education opportunities for its members. Being involved with TEVA has also given him the ability to network with industry representatives from Platinum Performance and Zoetis, among other global companies. Dr. Dutton saw the impact of TEVA made on not only its members' practices, but the profession as a whole. Wanting to ensure that the association was able to provide world- renowned speakers year after year, he decided to make Hill Country Equine a Platinum Practice Sponsor. Nearly three years later, Dr. Dutton remains confident in his decision and is quick to encourage other practices to do the same. He finds that being a Platinum Practice provides promotion opportunities for sponsor's practices and takes pride in the fact that his contributions are aiding in the continual improvement of the association and the industry. "To me, I see being a Platinum Practice as a way to give back to TEVA and our members." Both Dr. Dutton's cell phone and office line ring almost incessantly. Hill Country Equine's central location and Dr. Dutton's reputation as a nationally recognized lameness specialist keep the practice busy. Although their days are long and the schedules can be hectic, the staff can all agree that the most rewarding part of their profession is seeing the satisfaction of their clients. Hill Country Equine is located at 32640 FM 3351 in Boerne, Texas.
