It did for me." Alex Johnston, an 11-year-old who has performed in over 200 shows since she was five, wants to be a professional like her mentor. "This is like my dream, Johnston said. "Aric is helping us get to our dreams." Though one of the youngest members, Johnston is the most experienced and the most senior performer in the group. Johnston joined the team back when it started seven years ago. Aly Rhead, a 25-year-old retail manager who has been a part of Stasia for seven years, has dedicated much of her adult life to circus acrobatics because "it's different" from anything she's seen or done. "You know, people think of a hobby as 'I paint when I go home,'" Rhead said. "But this is almost like a second or third job for me. I take it pretty serious to where it's more like a passion. I show up four days a week, sometimes more if we have shows. It's almost like an obsession." Stasia Acrobatics is always looking for new acrobats and sponsors.
