Since 1834, the values have helped Worcester Academy cultivate in our students the qualities necessary for future success. Our thoughtfully designed curriculum challenges students with top-flight academics, inspiring arts opportunities, and a range of extracurricular and athletic options. We pride ourselves on connecting everything we teach to real-world applications, giving students practical experiences that let them see their knowledge in action. Our students engage in service learning projects, develop potential solutions to pressing problems, and trek to exciting foreign destinations. A place where academic enthusiasm is cool, friendships are genuine, and individual talents are identified and nurtured. Imagine teachers who are passionate about their subjects, and also passionate mentors of students. Imagine a community that pursues truth, goodness, and beauty in all things. This is Covenant. Covenant has been dedicated to providing a Classical Christian education for students in pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade for 28 years. We embrace an academically rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum, integrating Christian faith and a distinctly Biblical world- view. Covenant offers small class sizes, ded- icated and engaging educators, close teacher-student relationships, and strong partnerships with families. Our ethnically and economically diverse student body comes from over 40 cities and towns in eastern Massa- chusetts. We embrace a culture of kindness, warmth and authentic community. Each stage of our Classical curriculum over- laps and anticipates the others, ultimately prepar- ing students to reach the highest level in every discipline. The result is a cohesive sequence that consistently challenges students to realize their full potential. Our alumni frequently let us know how the foundation they received here equipped them for success in college and beyond. "I see on a daily basis the positive impact that CCA has in the lives of our students," says director of admissions Brenda McPherson. "It is a place where children of all ages thrive." We promote strong connections between the campus and the larger Worcester community. We welcome day students and also offer both seven-day and five-day boarding pro- grams, letting students choose the arrange- ment that is best for their needs. We create an atmosphere of support for our boarding students, striving always to make the school feel like a second home. "Worcester Academy has changed my son's life. The core values WA instills along with the devoted faculty have opened up opportunities for him that he never imagined," says Kathy Smith, parent of Lucas LaRoche, class of 2020.
