How would you change your technique so that you would be less likely to contaminate materials next time? • What areas on your equipment did you expect would become contaminated while you were working? • Did you contaminate your work area? • How do you think you could measure the amount of contamination you had on any single tool or surface (e.g., the handle of your swab)? • How do you think your results would be affected if multiple people in the lab shared equipment? Disposal/Clean-up: • Dispose of chemicals according to local regulations. • Put all materials into the trash, wipe your work surface with disinfectant again and wash hands.
