inside ILTA ASIA SUMMIT LegalTech Asia Technology Summit, the inaugural legal technology event in Asia, took place on March 4 and 5 in Hong Kong. It was proclaimed a complete success by attendees, as it was the first time they had educational content designed specifically for legal technology professionals. Attendees participated in a wide range of educational sessions delivered by an expert global faculty and had access to the newest technologies and services driving the legal profession. It was exciting to see ILTA content being delivered in a new context and watching attendees' reactions to it. Many attendees offered to become more involved in ILTA events, and there was great anticipation for repeating and growing the event next year. Overhead View • Unforgettable keynote (see below) • Two days, 17 educational sessions, all well-attended • Appreciative and enthusiastic audience responses to sessions, coming early and staying late • Global perspectives on session topics • Interactive session experiences, from workshops to small group discussions • Powerful networking opportunities during breaks, lunch and receptions; many stayed after the end of the conference to spend time together • Participation from vendor sponsors, sharing solutions at their table-top displays and interacting in sessions Keynote Rohit Talwar,Futurist and Research Consultant, delivered an electrifying keynote: "Practical Magic: Emerging Technologies and Their Impact on Business and the Legal Profession." We sat riveted as Rohit shared some of his research findings on technologies that are coming down the pike. 100 Peer to Peer RECAP There were references to his presentation in almost every breakout session afterward.
