12 TECHNOLOGY www.guestlist.net Issue 49 / 2013 ANGRY BIRDS CARTOON on its way TO a TV NEAR YOU! Plans have been made to give these simple game characters more depth by turning their adventures into an animated series, that will premier soon! If someone would have told you the premise for angry birds 10 years ago, you might have shaken your head and told that person to not quit his day job to pursue this crazy idea. It is kind of hard to imagine that a premise that revolves around shooting birds at pigs has evolved into the huge franchise it is today. You dont even have to play the game to have heard of it. Chances are you have seen the countless t-shirts, mugs and stuffed animals standing on the shelves and thinking to yourself what its all about. Well, frankly the angry birds franchise is even surpassing the simple merchandise revolving around it. The creator of the game has been dropping clues for the upcoming cartoon last April and even stated recently that there might be an Angry Birds movie in the WARS MAY BE FOUGHT WITH WEAPONS, BUT THEY ARE WON BY MEN. GENERAL GEORGE S. PATTON OUT NOW! A turn-based strategy game like no other combining strategy, tactics & RPG elements with exciting 3D action, immersing you in the bloody conicts of WW2 from the beaches of Normandy to the war torn streets of Berlin. works as well. It is not yet completely clear where the animated series will be broadcasted, but they will probably be available on a variety of apps and devices. The show is said to have 52 episodes that will last approximately 3 minutes. Well, if youre a fan of the game, this might be something to check out. Lets give it our first critical eye by viewing the trailer shall we? APP OF THE MONTH SECRET DJ Because we are all so kind were going to let you in on a little secret... For all of those who love music and going out, this is just the app for you. You might have been out on the town sometimes, went into several clubs and then lost all enthusiasm because you were just not feeling the music that night. Well, we have just found the cure to your problem. The secret DJ app allows you to have a say in the music selection of your favourite pub, bar or nightclub with just the push of a few buttons, sounds wonderful doesnt it? But you might be asking yourself how such a thing is possible and how it works. Well it works quite simple, the system connects to a secret jukebox system that is operated within the pub, club etc. you are currently located at and allows you to make a selection of the songs you want to hear. Of course you might fear that this is going to lead to an angry mob of hipsters at the club, who are moaning about wanting to hear their underground songs blasting through. However, this is not the way, the system is regulated in such a way that it all works out. Are you getting curious yet? Well I am afraid the rest of the secret DJ app is going to be a secret until you try it out for yourself.
