93 created their breads out of a desire to find healthy, organic, Old–World style breads for themselves and their small children. When they couldn't find what they were looking for, Alyona started baking it herself. "Bread is a great part of our culture," Nash says. "It's why we started the business." Breads that are healthful, tasty, and made with natural, organic ingredients is the name of the game at the certified organic Olde Craft Bakery. Among Alexander and Alyona's children's favorites is the wheat, oats, and flax bread, a soft, flavorful bread that's kid-friendly without excessive sugar and that Nash refers to in conversation as "children's bread." They also make a whole wheat seven-grain sourdough, a traditional French baguette with no added sugar, and an Eastern European– style rye with ground coriander and dark rye with caraway seeds. Nash says they plan to add cinnamon raisin bread and a simple Alexander and Alyona Nash (right) own The Olde Craft Bakery.
