31 at Burton Hall and was assistant secretary for the European Eventing Championships at Punchestown before coming to the U.S. Dr. Tim Holekamp Tim Holekamp grew up in an American Saddlebred family in St. Louis, Missouri, but made the switch to eventing and dressage when he and his wife Cheryl got together over 35 years ago. They began breeding Trakehner sporthorses in 1983, and have gotten deeper and deeper into it ever since. An honor graduate of Amherst College and Washington University School of Medicine, Tim is a retired retina surgeon in ordinary life, and since the children have left home, Cheryl and he have spent nearly all their free time and efforts breeding mares, standing stallions, training young horses, and supporting as many riders as possible. They have owned and competed the Trakehner stallions Amethyst, Windfall, Baron Verdi, Gluecksruf and others here and in Germany, and have produced quite a number of Young Event Horse champions and reserve champions. Tim is a recent past- president of the American Trakehner Association and serves on their Board. He has strongly supported the USEA's ICP and co-chairs the YEH program. He is also active in the USEF's Eventing Owners Task Force leadership. The honor he most treasures is the USEA's Governor's Cup, awarded to Cheryl and him in 2011. One of his most important current goals is to improve the Young Event Horse program to better identify those four- and five-year-olds most likely to be successful at the international levels. In his opinion, creating a better "upward pathway" for such horses is of paramount importance to the US Eventing Team and the enormous pyramid of riders, trainers, and owners that form the sport's foundations, and several of his proposals toward that end are in place. Jon Holling Jonathan Holling is a wearer of many hats in this world of three-day eventing. He is an accomplished upper level three- day event competitor having first competed at the Kentucky Three-Day Event in 1998. Since this first experience at the top level of his sport, Jonathan has competed at numerous four- and five-star events throughout the United States and Europe. He has competed regularly at the Kentucky Three-Day Event and at Burghley, and was the top placed American on the U.S. Nations Cup team at Boekelo in 2013. For many years Jonathan teamed up with Peter Gray, forming Equiventures. In this role Jon was the organizer of four horse trials a year including a CCI* and CCI2* held at the Florida Horse Park. Jon sold Equiventures so that he could focus more on his competitive goals but he is still passionate about maintaining a leadership role in the sport. Jon is a Level IV ICP Certified Instructor. He has served on the USEA Board of Governors, the Nominating Committee, the Executive Committee, and is currently a co-chair of the Cross-Country Design and Fence Construction Safety Task Force for the USEA. He is also the USEF National Safety Officer for eventing to the FEI, a member of the USEF safety committee, a member of the USEF Competitions Committee, and sits on the Active Athlete Committee. This list goes on and on. With all of his other responsibilities Jon still prioritizes time with his 8-year-old son, Caiden. He is a 16-year veteran of marriage to Jennifer. Jonathan is a huge Green Bay Packers fan, a lover of teenage girl dance music, and a glutton for punishment at his CrossFit classes. Malcolm Hook Malcolm Hook is a licensed FEI Technical Delegate and a past member of the USEA Board of Governors. This year, as in years past, he will moderate the Rules Change Forum, during which time he will attempt to clarify the
