12 POTATO GROWER | JANUARY 2020 New Products Vive Xyler FC Fungicide Potato growers have a new way to combat pyth- ium and phytophthora with Xyler FC. The EPA recently registered Xyler FC fungicide (metal- axyl), and it becomes the fifth product in Vive Crop Protection's lineup. Xyler FC provides the flexibility to be applied in-furrow or foliar. Xyler FC controls pythium leak and pink rot (phytophthora) in potatoes. When mixed with AZ- teroid FC 3.3, the combination is the only fertiliz- er-compatible, broad-spectrum package to control pythium, phytophthora and rhizoctonia. Xyler FC is available for application in the 2020 season. Xyler FC contains the Allosperse Delivery Sys- tem—technology that changes how proven active ingredients behave in the spray tank. Farmers and retailers can have peace of mind that there will be uniform protection across the field every time. Contact Vive Crop Protection at www.vivecrop.com. McCrometer Non- Programmable Registers Flow meter manufacturer McCrometer, Inc. announces the newest addition to its agriculture product suite: non-program- mable digital registers accompanying propeller meters. Registers accom- pany flow meters to display flow rate and volumetric total, and have histor- ically allowed the user to re-program the register to display information in a variance of units and other data. McCrometer offers three total registers that accompany the McPropeller and Water Spe- cialties propeller meter, and two meet the new regulatory requirements: FlowCom, the digital register; and FlowConnect, the telemetry unit that automates data collection for exact match from meter to website. Both registers are available for non-programmable requirements, imprinted with a padlock to denote compliance with state regulation. Customers interested in receiving a quote on propeller meters and non-programmable registers can visit www.mccrometer.com/agricultural-turf.
