The EPA recently registered Xyler FC fungicide (metal- axyl), and it becomes the fifth product in Vive Crop Protection's lineup. Xyler FC provides the flexibility to be applied in-furrow or foliar. Xyler FC controls pythium leak and pink rot (phytophthora) in potatoes. When mixed with AZ- teroid FC 3.3, the combination is the only fertiliz- er-compatible, broad-spectrum package to control pythium, phytophthora and rhizoctonia.
