PRODUCT FOCUS Supercharger Conversion Front Cover Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE), Decatur, Ind., offers a new supercharger conversion front cover that allows for the installation of an LS9 TVS2300 supercharger on TVS1900-equipped LSA engines without having to change accessory drives or throttle locations. The system features a high-flow, low-pressure drop design to increase power and airflow capacity. On 2012-'13 Camaro ZL1 and 2009-'13 Cadillac CTS-V vehicles, the conversion front cover allows users to retain the OEM LSA accessory drive. Nitrous Plate System Nitrous Express, Wichita Falls, Texas, offers its GT 500 System featuring a billet nitrous plate that fits between the throttle body and intake, making installation quick, simple and attractive. The system includes aluminum and carbon fiber solenoids for performance and weight savings, as well as a NX fuel rail adapter for simple fuel system hook-ups, TPS wide-open throttle switch, 15-foot nitrous feed line, master arming switch, relay, relay harness and all necessary hardware. The GT 500 comes with jetting from 35 to 200 hp and a choice of bottle size. Rally Turbo Garrett by Honeywell, Torrance, Calif., presents its GTX2860R "Rally Potato" turbocharger featuring a forged, fully machined 11-blade billet compressor wheel with next-generation aerodynamics. The dual ceramic ball-bearing, oil- and water-cooled CHRA has a 49-trim compressor wheel designed for optimum performance with a 34mm inlet restrictor in rally applications. A ported shroud compressor housing increases surge resistance and the turbine housing is cast from high-nickel Ni-Resist material for high-temperature durability. Injector Plates Challenger R/T Supercharger Vortech Engineering, Channel Islands, Calif., presents its V-3 Si Supercharging System for 2009-'10 5.7-liter Dodge Challenger R/T applications. Utilizing high-efficiency compressors and air-to-water charge cooler technology, the systems offer 503 hp and 563 foot-pounds of torque at 7 pounds of boost. The gear-driven V-3 Si centrifugal supercharger is capable of supporting 775 hp and is 50-state smog-legal. Features include a remote fluid drain hose for simple fluid changes without removing the supercharger, high-efficiency impeller and housing design and more. NS Nitrous Supply, Huntington Beach, Calif., announces a new series of eXtreme flo injector plates. With considerable increases in demand of nitrous flow rates over the last few years, NS has developed a new line of injector plates with larger-diameter nitrous spray bars in conjunction with a higher quantity of precision drilled holes, thus allowing more volume potential along with the benefit of aiding atomization with smaller droplets of fuel. The systems can add up to 500 hp. 14 n Performance Business PBMAY 2.indd 14 n May 2013 3/29/13 9:50 AM
