In January of 2015, SCORE International launched SCORE Journal Magazine, a digital media tool designed to provide insight into the people, racers, sponsors, and behind-the-scenes action of the SCORE World Desert Championship Series. “It is hard to believe that the SCORE Journal just completed the 5th year of providing what started off as a program to increase the communication between the new SCORE era and the teams and existing sponsor base at the time,” said Jim Ryan, SCORE Marketing & Sales Director. “This digital magazine was developed to communicate all the changes being implemented in the transition 2013-14 years, to position SCORE and off-road motorsports for future growth. In the process of publishing now over 60 issues, as a digital media tool designed to provide insight into the fans, racers, sponsors, and behind-the-scenes action of the SCORE World Desert Championship Series, the SCORE Journal has become the go-to source for the Off-Road Motorsports and performance lifestyle participant and enthusiast bases.” Since its inception, the SCORE Journal has grown to reach over 2-million monthly unique readers with the English edition, and more than 200,000 unique monthly readers with the Spanish edition, that launched in October 2016. “What made the SCORE Journal so great, is that it allowed us to stay in touch with our growing fan base every month, instead of waiting to communicate with them during each of the four races throughout the season,” said Ryan. “The impact of reaching people digitally, especially through mobile devices, grew the reader/viewer base so fast, reaching far beyond the SCORE fan base and quickly attracted off-road enthusiasts and off-road racers globally who are now loyal readers.” SCORE Journal’s content is created and managed by Dan Sanchez and his staff at DS Media LLC. Graphics and all digital processing is done by Todd and Ashley Horne at DerDIZ Digital Inc.
