MARCH 2020 THE WOLVERINE 95   MICHIGAN IN THE PROS ESPN's Kevin Seifert also made a list of the NFL's 50 best free agents in 2020, with Brady checking in at No. 2 in his edition, Glasgow at No. 43 and Funchess nowhere to be found. "Retiring is 'pretty unlikely,' Brady said after the Patriots' wild card loss to the Titans," Seifert wrote Jan. 14. "That sentiment sets up a two-month guessing game about his 2020 team. The Patriots have agreed not to use the franchise tag on him, and without a new deal by March 18, Brady will be- come a free agent — and deposit $13.5 million in dead money on the Patriots' cap — for the first time in his career. "The big unknown: Is there a fran- chise willing to offer a premium, short-term contract while also pair- ing him with the supporting cast he would want and need?" The NBA DUNCAN ROBINSON TAKES PART IN NBA THREE-POINT CONTEST Miami Heat forward Duncan Rob- inson participated in the NBA Three- Point Contest Feb. 15, after an out- standing first half of the season from behind the arc. The former Wolverine knocked down his 200th career three-pointer Feb. 12 in just his 69th game, which is 15 fewer contests than any other player in NBA history. Robinson's 19 points in the first round of the annual event weren't enough to qualify him for the final round, with Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield eventually taking home the crown. "I have to redeem myself after that, for sure," Robinson said afterward. "It definitely felt a little bit different than in-game shooting. Even just when I was practicing for it, it was a different feeling. It's hard to prepare for it."
