romoting Smart Irrigation Month will allow growers and grower asso-
ciations to display support of water conservation by using or converting to technologically advanced irrigation systems and practices applicable to a specific crop. Inform fellow growers about
systems and products that can reduce water and energy con- sumption, reduce water and energy costs, improve yields, save valuable time, create pub- lic awareness of the important role irrigation plays in supply- ing food and finished goods to consumers and build coop- eration with local government agencies and water purveyors.
