Pete Sohren Selected As Honorary Grand Marshal For The 34th SCORE San Felipe 250
SCORE International announces "Pistol" Pete Sohren as the Honorary Grand Marshal of the 34th SCORE San Felipe 250. The Sohren family will be carrying out the Grand Marshal duties during the race. Sohren earned three class wins in the SCORE San Felipe 250, and has won five Class 5 season points championships. He has also raced in Class 7, winning the SCORE Baja 500, SCORE Desert Challenge, and the SCORE Baja 1000 in that class. “It was a great choice for Pete to be the honorary Grand Marshal for this event, simply because he loved the race, the city, the people of San Felipe, and because he was taken so quickly from us last year.” said Jim Ryan, SCORE Marketing Manager.
Sohren Class 5 Contingency
Recognizing Pete’s passion for Class 5, the Sohren family will be offering a Contingency Prize of $1002 for Class 5 racers. Long-time friend and racer Chad Bunch announced that the Sohren Family Forever Pit Crew is adding $1220.22 to the prize, raising it to a total of $2222.22 for the overall class winner in the race.
TV Air Dates for 2020 SCORE Races
The 2020 Season of the SCORE World Desert Championship will be televised on the ABC family of networks. Each SCORE race will air as a one-hour special on ABC’s World of X Games with replays on ESPN 2. All SCORE race coverage also airs globally in 25 countries across Europe , Asia, Latin America and South America via syndication and ESPN International.

The game allows players to pick and customize their own Trophy Truck with more than 1000 combinations of paint jobs, body styles, decals, and tires. Players get behind the wheel and take on the SCORE Baja 1000, earning points for winning short sections and performing “big air” flips. Players can also challenge 10 legendary Baja racers and teams such as Tavo Vildosola, Shelby Reid, Casey Currie, Alan Ampudia, and many others.
