Arena Warehouse was once again entrusted with setting up an outdoor hockey arena in the middle of Parade Stadium in Minneapolis. Parade Stadium is a premier baseball field located in the heart of Minneapolis. The site proved to be very challenging, but the crew with Arena Warehouse (Mat Hennen, Cory Portner and John Cole) was second to none and the weekend went off without a hitch. From youth hockey games, to an NHL Alumni game, and capping the event off on Saturday with two high school hockey games and a Division I women's game, the entire experience is one that the fans will not soon forget. "We have been truly blessed to get some of these really fun events the past couple of years," said Arena Warehouse Owner, Jeff Horstman. "We keep challenging ourselves, and, as a result, learn along the way. The team that I was able to put together for all of the different aspects was amazing and the Local Committee deserves a huge applause for all of the parts and pieces they were able to put together to make this event happen." It's all about the base, all about the base to heighten the on-ice experience , Ice Base enables rinks to heighten the ice experience delivered to patrons throughout the year! Creating new interactive portions of the ice has not only increased enjoyment of the skaters, but has increased the popularity of public skates during typically slower periods. "Ice-America's accessories enable rink operators to add value and increase revenue by providing safe ways to socialize and participate, including The Base ice dividers/benches, and interactive activities like Bobby the Seal and the Icebyk. Use them to enhance your public skating, private rentals, and birthday packages," said Ice-America CEO, Scott Williams.
